Ms. Bude Sethaputra-Piccin is the Thai-born data engineer turned founder and CEO of Tastermonial, a Silicon Valley platform that uses continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and AI to turn raw glucose data into an interpretation layer that clinicians and health coaches can use in a consult. Her work brings personalized metabolic nutrition out of the research lab and into everyday clinical practice moving patients from generic dietary rules to evidence about how their own bodies actually respond to food.
Her credibility rests not on a clinical title but on two decades of engineering and quantitative discipline applied to a field still dominated by surveys and population averages. Trained in computer engineering and information systems and a CFA charter holder, she previously built data-driven products and investment-evaluation systems at Amazon, Linde AG, and Ernst & Young. That background is the foundation of Tastermonial’s core method: applying AI to longitudinal glucose data to surface individual metabolic-sensitivity markers how a person handles fat added to starch, fiber, meal timing, and order that the glycemic index cannot capture.
Working in research partnership with the Metabolic Health Research Lab at Stanford, she builds longitudinal, consented, individual metabolic evidence observation-led rather than self-reported. Her approach stays deliberately clinical and non-commercial: Tastermonial describes what a person’s glucose did under a given condition; the interpretation and clinical judgment stay with the practitioner. Born in Thailand and based in California, she bridges practical eating culture including the distinct glycemic patterns common in Asian populations and modern metabolic science, so that healthy aging and peak performance become measurable outcomes rather than guesswork.
