Dr. Wean Sin Cheow is Cluster Director of Food, Chemical and Biotechnology at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and an Associate Professor with extensive expertise in chemical and biomolecular engineering. She earned her PhD in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, where she also completed her Bachelor of Engineering degree.

With a strong academic leadership background, Dr. Cheow has served as Programme Leader for the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Engineering and Deputy Cluster Director prior to her current appointment. She is widely recognized for her excellence in teaching and innovation, receiving multiple SIT Teaching Excellence Awards and international recognition including the ASCILITE Innovation Award and the Elsevier Woman in Chemical Engineering Award (Runner-Up).

Her work bridges engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, and biotechnology, contributing to both education and research advancement in the field.
